LENZO CEO Kenshin Fujiwara to Speak at SEMI Business Update

September 15, 2026, Online, Japanese-language event
LENZO Co-Founder & CEO Kenshin Fujiwara will speak at the upcoming SEMI Business Update on September 15, 2026.
Held under the theme 「半導体は設計する時代へ ~チャレンジする日本企業~」 (“The Era of Semiconductor Design: Japanese Companies Taking on the Challenge”), the session will explore why semiconductor design is becoming increasingly important in the age of AI, highlighting Japanese companies developing semiconductors around their own requirements and startups taking on the challenge of AI semiconductor development.
Kenshin will present 「なぜ今、日本でAI半導体を創るのか」 (“Why Create AI Semiconductors in Japan Now?”).
As AI expands from generative AI into robotics and Physical AI, power consumption and computational efficiency are becoming increasingly significant challenges. The presentation will explore why LENZO is designing a new semiconductor from the ground up, the challenges facing AI semiconductors, the new model of computing LENZO aims to realize through its proprietary CGLA processor architecture, and the potential for a Japanese semiconductor startup to compete in the global market.
The program will also feature presentations from IBM Japan and Daikin Industries, offering different perspectives on semiconductor planning, design and development in Japan.
